The yoga classes will be Ashtanga based and will suit all levels. Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic yoga style combining breathing, movement and meditation. During the week you will get an introduction to Sunsalutations A and B, standing, sitting and some final exercises. From my own experience over several years, yoga is a form of exercise that fits well with all types of dance forms.

Kristin Brathagen is a dance artist and yoga teacher based in Oslo. Kristin has had a daily yoga practice since 2011, taking a 200t teacher training in AshtangaYoga with Alexander Medin at Puro Yoga in 2013-2014. Since 2014, she has taught beginners, led classes and Mysore style at Puro Yoga. Since 2015 she has been teaching yoga for the classical students at Khio. She also teaches yoga for Proda and DanseFot, a talent program for young dancers in Akershus. Kristin is educated at the Norwegian Opera & Ballet School and the Rambert School of Ballet and contemporary Dance in London. She has been associated with various companies and choreographers such as The Norwegian Opera and Ballet, Kjersti Kramm Engebretsen, Moving Art, Navak Contemporary Dance Company, HerStay and Hanna Mjåvatn. Kristin has also worked on projects with IlDance and at the Gothenburg Opera in Sweden.
