Rannei Grenne and Solveig Styve Holte share an interest in formalism within dance. In collaboration with two other duos, they create art that is both complex and simplistic. They transform materials and work strategies, via digital driftwood and geological phenomena, in to their own bodies and interests, creating flashes of unity with each other and different materials.
They don’t seek perfection; everything gets to be visible. Details, seams, and cracks are exposed – and the human physicality is present - in an experience transcending concert, fashion show, and performance.
Rannei Grenne works as a dancer, Solveig Styve Holte as a dancer and choreographer. Heida Karine Johannesdottir works as a musician, composer, writer, and visual artist. Anja Lauvdal currently works as a musician, playing piano and synthesizers. HAiKw/ (established in 2012) is a clothing brand based on collaboration with others within and outside their own field, run by Harald Lunde Helgesen and Ida Falck Øien.
